New AV Production 2.0 | Join our webinar: Energy and Sustainable Supply Chains

The Polish Producers Alliance (KIPA) invites producers and all interested professionals to take part in a series of webinars on sustainable audiovisual production, organised as part of the New AV Production 2.0 programme.

New AV Production 2.0 builds upon KIPA’s initiative launched in 2025 to strengthen the skills of Polish audiovisual professionals by supporting the professionalisation of sustainable production practices. The programme aims to increase the implementation of environmentally responsible approaches in film, television, series and commercial productions created by Polish producers.

As part of the Sustainable Audiovisual Production module, four intermediate-level webinars will be held in English throughout July and August 2026.

They also offer an opportunity to explore sustainable production from a more practical and advanced perspective. In this webinar, we will look at practical approaches to energy management on set and in production facilities, the use of cleaner energy solutions, and the development of sustainable and transparent supply chains for equipment, materials, and services. Participants will discover practical examples and tools that can also be applied within the Polish film industry.

She truly believes that combining disciplines science, art, communication, technology can help to understand our world and create a better one. She had plenty of projects in the past where she had the opportunity to combine her biologist background with her creative skills. • Should sustainable production be considered already at the project development stage? Absolutely. Decisions made during development have a significant impact on how a production is later organised and on its overall environmental footprint. In this webinar, we will explore how to integrate the principles of sustainable production from the very beginning of the development process and through close collaboration with writers. We will discuss how producers and screenwriters can work together to ensure that green filming principles are considered from the earliest stages of project development. Participants will discover practical examples and best practices demonstrating that sustainable production begins long before the first day of shooting.
  • Speaker: Lucie Trémolières is writer, script consultant and performer. She’s interested in how the environmental crises and transitions impact the stories we tell on screen. She’s a trainer with TorinoFilmLab, Series Mania Institute, La Femis, Ecoprod and many other European institutions. She’s Sustainability and Storytelling consultant for Netflix, covering several European territories. She’s also co-written the Ecoprod Guide for screenwriters.

The second module of this year’s New AV Production 2.0 programme is a series of in-person workshops dedicated to building the producer’s and the film’s brand. Participants will gain practical knowledge and skills in developing promotional strategies, creating visual identities, collaborating with graphic designers and distributors, and designing effective communication strategies in today’s highly competitive audiovisual market.

The programme is unique in Poland, as it is the first initiative to combine two key aspects of professional development within the audiovisual industry: sustainable production and strategic producer branding. By bringing these two areas together, the programme responds both to the global challenges of environmental sustainability and to the growing need for stronger communication and marketing skills among Polish producers competing on the European market.

The programme is co-financed by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the Creative Industries Development Programme, implemented by The Creative Industries Institute. The partner of the New AV Production 2.0 project is Netflix.
