Eco-consultants and Ambassadors for Laboratory of Green Audiovisual Production 2023

10 Eco-Consultants and 11 Green Audiovisual Production Ambassadors have completed the Laboratory of Green Audiovisual Production 2023.

The Laboratory of Green Audiovisual Production 2023 is the second edition of a comprehensive and the only series of training courses on green audiovisual production issues available on the Polish market, conducted by high-level national and international experts. The series was aimed at all members of the Polish audiovisual industry and was intended to familiarise them with the theoretical and practical principles of ecological film, television and advertising production, as well as the tools used in Poland and Europe to make it sustainable.

The course comprised nine meetings, which lasted a total of 36 hours. Each meeting was devoted to a different aspect of ecological production – from the implementation of procedures on set, through auditing audiovisual production, carbon footprint calculations, to issues of motivating film crew members to behave in an environmentally friendly way. Those wishing to do so also took part in practical workshops on planning ecological measures on a film set as part of a specific film, TV series or commercial production project, culminating in the obligatory pitching of ecological solutions in front of a panel of eco-consultants from Germany, the UK and Hungary.
